The Bookshelf is Cullman's oldest book store located in one of the oldest sections of Cullman.  The house itself was built around 1910 and has a historic marker by the door. The house contains rooms  for each genre to make shopping easier.  The Bookshelf  is owned and operated by Pam Rosenberger who has been in the book business for many years.  She has a phenomenal memory for the inventory and individual customer's taste.  Pam enjoys reading all genres and enjoys discussing them with customers.

The Bookshelf offers a huge selection of books ranging from current bestsellers to collectibles.  With a huge selection of over 80,000 books customers should have no problem finding something to read.  Feel free to call and inquire about specific books.  Books can be special-ordered if needed.  The "Basement (1st Saturday) Sale" is very popular and held on the first Saturday of each month from 8:30 - 4:30. It's a good time to try new authors as prices range from 10 - 50 cents each.
